We’re thrilled to bring this amazing list of artists to our new home at the Evans Towne Center over Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 & 26! We’ll have some of the best bluegrass music you can find, finger-lickin’ barbecue, a large selection of craft beer, a petting zoo, pig races, a fun playground and so much more.
Our Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event will pit cookers from across the country in a competition for $40,000 in prize money. Friday night will again feature our popular “for bragging rights” steak cook-off competition as well as a fun Kids Cook-Off.
An exciting new addition to this year’s event is the Great American BBQ Tour! Their dynamic and entertaining Tour team of Mike and Christine Peters will be giving out promotional products, coupons, and product information to Banjo-B-Que attendees while cooking up an unforgettable BBQ experience that includes grilling tips, demonstrations and product samples.
Tickets for the 3rd annual Papa Joe’s Banjo-B-Que & Bluegrass Festival will go on sale today at TicketAlternative.com. Tickets are $35 and will be on sale in the following outlets, May 1: A.B. Beverage in Evans and Aiken, Communigraphics and Fireside Outdoor Kitchens & Grills.
Kids 12 and under are free and a $5 discount is offered to anyone showing military ID and all active law enforcement. Make sure to get yours and join us at Evans Towne Center in Evans, GA this Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 & 26.
Banjo-B-Que was created in 2010 to honor Joe Pond, bringing together his favorite things – authentic bluegrass music, fresh cooked barbecue and a fun atmosphere for the entire family.
