Agritourism, including music, arts and crafts, games and more, may be the answer to preserving Columbia County’s only remaining dairy farm
BY ERIC JOHNSON AUGUSTA, GA – Last November, Jim Steed went before the Columbia County Planning Commission to get approval for an idea he hoped would allow the last surviving dairy farm in the county to remain where it had been since 1934.
